German Pizza ®
A
most
unique
frozen
pizza product.
Originally
introduced in our restaurant in 1980. We are now beginning to
market
our 10" pizza to local supermarkets and will be
expanding our markets
in
the near future. This is the front label of the product.

It’s not like any other pizza you have ever eaten. Very unique in that it tastes more like a reuben. There is no red sauce, just a nice horseradish, mayonnaise and spices dressing. The combination of the excellent quality corned beef, sauerkraut and mozzarella cheese, when baked on a pizza crust, produces a delicious, mouth-watering surprise of flavors. It improves on the Reuben, however, as the baking tempers the kraut and sweetens it producing a most unique flavor.
When it was
first introduced we heard all
of
the questions, which are probably now going through your head, like the
obvious one, “Kraut on a pizza?” The answer again, there is no
red
sauce on this making it more comparable to today’s “white pizza” (we
think
we may have had the first white pizza when we created the “German Pizza”®
in 1980). You simply must taste it to appreciate this melding of
flavors. One final thing is if you don’t like kraut to start
with,
you may not like this, but give it a try, it may surprise you!
